A short trip to America!
Actually, a very short trip for Brick America - only down to the South West of England!
Earlier this year, we opened a custom exhibition for the American Museum. Located just outside of Bath, it celebrates Americana and opened to the public way back in 1961. To create a summer blockbuster exhibition for 2023, we were asked to re-imagine some American landmarks in bricks!

Delayed from 2020 due to a certain virus that you might have heard of, Brick by Brick has been developed especially for the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter. Within the exhibition, you’ll be able to chart the history of Exeter through nine special commissions. Here’s a sneak peak!

PK Porthcurno will re-open with a new LEGO model
For those paying close attention, this is why we were in the very south west of England a couple of weeks ago!
As part of their 150th anniversary, PK Porthcurno (previously the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum) commissioned us to create a model of the very first transatlantic cable to be brought into the beach.

The left part of this photo was taken in January 2017 and the right hand side today. Mia (the black van) was at John o'Groats - the top of the UK* collecting Brick City, which had been on display nearby in Thurso.
Appleton Tower
If you live in Edinburgh, you’ll know of the Appleton Tower. As well as being housing some of Edinburgh Universities Students union and being the Edinburgh Fringe Hub - it’s also the home to the School of Infomatics. They’re a world leader in artificial intelligence, natural language processing and machine translation, and theoretical computer science……

Released today is our limited edition model of Edinburgh Castle - made entirely from LEGO bricks. More details here. It's been a long time coming, this model and I'll be honest - it wasn't an easy thing to design!

If you were in the Kennet Shopping Centre in Newbury last week - you can't have failed to notice this going on! Highclere Castle is the real life building that is used as the setting for Downton Abbey. A TV show that a few people have seen apparently!
