PK Porthcurno will re-open with a new LEGO model
For those paying close attention, this is why we were in the very south west of England a couple of weeks ago!
As part of their 150th anniversary, PK Porthcurno (previously the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum) commissioned us to create a model of the very first transatlantic cable to be brought into the beach.

It only took 3 1/2 years to make this picture!
The left part of this photo was taken in January 2017 and the right hand side today. Mia (the black van) was at John o'Groats - the top of the UK* collecting Brick City, which had been on display nearby in Thurso.

Around this time last year, Teresa and I were in Portugal for the first LEGO fan weekend. Not their first event, but the first as a fully fledged hub event. Anyway, the event last year was fantastic. I'll be honest in that we had no idea what to expect, but whatever ideas we might have had were blown away by the hospitality, generosity and professionalism of the event. Obviously......
