Who ya gonna call?
When there's something strange.... in your neighbour-Hub office... OK, I'll stop the ghostbusters puns now - but what if you do have something a bit unusual that you need help with? Especially if it's made of LEGO!
Around a month or so ago we got an unusual request from a usual customer. LEGO (UK) had a phone box in their central London office - but it needed to be on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. Having been installed when the office opened, no-one knew who had built it, or how, or how on earth it could be removed. All they knew was that there was ‘some steel’ inside a ‘mainly unglued’ model. Well, we like a challenge!
Christmas in Cambridge
We had great fun collaborating with the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre in Cambridge to create a Christmas scene as part of this year’s festivities. And we are extremely happy with the finished results!
Haddington 700
As part of Scotlands’s Year of Young People and in combination with the year-long celebration of Haddington’s 700 year anniversary of receiving the Bruce Charter, we visited the town to build some LEGO to commemorate the event!

Festival at the Fort
As part of their 250th Anniversary celebrations, Fort George hosted a two-day event - Festival at the Fort. Alongside the interactive displays of all periods of the Fort’s history, we were there building LEGO!
Awesome Bricks 2019
We were back at the National Museum of Flight for Awesome Bricks, and it was awesome! It is always an incredible experience and it was wonderful to be back for our third year at the museum - making things even bigger and better! There was a wealth of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages!
The Hamburg Süd Fleet
As part of their one-year anniversary celebrations for the merger of Maersk A/S and Hamburg Süd, Maersk commissioned a 1:200 scale model of one of Hamberg Süd’s CAP SAN fleet to be displayed at their Hamburg offices. This beautifully detailed model is presented in the official company colours in December 2018 and was a great success with the staff.
Back in Berlin!
A few weeks ago, we were in Berlin for Fruit Logistica 2019 - more on that soon! Only a couple of weeks later and we are back again!
Up in the Air!
We had the pleasure of returning to the Orbit this February for another Bricks in the Sky event! Alongside an exhibition of some of our favourite London models from our collections, we also hosted interactive build events.

Going Bananas in Berlin
To help make their stand out at the enormous Fruit Logistics Trade Show at the Messe Berlin, Chiquita hosted a live build of the star of The LEGO Movie 2, Bananar La Star!

All Sewn Up…
Over Summer 2019, we worked with the Forge Mill Needle Museum on a number of a LEGO events. Alongside exhibitions of our Brick Built and Museum collections, we hosted two interactive build events.
Oh look, Squirrel!
A red squirrel in fact! And far more complex than it looks, this big squirrel was built for the Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface (CTSI to you and me!) as part of an exhibition that we put on over the summer.
The Day We Met Robin Hood
Now for one of our biggest BIG Builds. Built over a full 6 days, this got almost all of the team involved. Nottingham Castle (yes, that one with the Sheriff of Nottingham) are closing this summer for a huge 2 year renovation.

Kicking off our 2018 BIG Build summer season, Kirsten and Alastair were at the Midland Railway Museum. We were tasked to re-create one of their locos in LEGO to start 'Butterley Brick Week'.
