Going Bananas in Berlin

To help make their stand out at the enormous Fruit Logistics Trade Show at the Messe Berlin, Chiquita hosted a live build of the star of The LEGO Movie 2, Bananar La Star!

Over several days, attendees could help build this giant banana with help from our master builders Warren and Teresa. The finished banana was over 1m tall and proved very popular with attendees at the trade show; who even got souvenir printed bricks to take away.

Even Miss Chiquita herself stopped by! And we couldn’t resist recreating her famous fruit headdress in LEGO. Though we think that Miss Chiquita’s is a lot more comfortable to wear!
