LEGO System and LEGO Duplo play base setup:

Follow the same procedure for each play base;

  1. Attach feet to the play base before unpacking. These will be stored in the tools flightcase. Screw the 4 feet into position.

  2. Unpack the wooden play bases. WIth AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE, undo the ratchet strap holding the base to the pallet.

  3. Lower the base down onto it’s feet - making sure not to put pressure on the feet as you roll it down. It is usually easiest to leave one side of the base on the pallet and lower the other down. Then, lift the base and remove the pallet.

  4. FInd and unpack signaage for each play base. Instructions to assemble these can be found here. Note that these are generic, so adjust for the size of display that you have.

  5. If necessary, touch up the grey paintwork surround

  6. If necessary, touch up the top surface

  7. Find the box of Duplo play bricks and place with play base.

  8. Liase with venue as to how these bricks will be stored / presented.

Dino Dig Activity setup:

  1. Unpack Dino Dig and move into position

  2. Fill with Sand

  3. FInd and unpack signage for each play base. Instructions to assemble these can be found here. Note that these are generic, so adjust for the size of display that you have.

  4. Liase with venue as to how tools will be stored / presented.

LEGO Soft brick, Dino footprint and Stamping pillar setup:

Give to venue. There is nothing else supplied for these.

Graffiti Wall setup:

  1. Unpack all items and move to position

  2. Check if items need repainting. If they do, spare paint for touch ups and painbrushes are in toolbox

  3. Repaint if necessary

  4. Once dry, hang the tray first. It should have 3 Ryman brackets on the rear, which will hang over screw heads. Alternatively, use mirror plates (not supplied)

  5. Once tray is hung, hang graffiti wall itself above the tray. Ideally, the bottom edge of the wall should sit at the same level as the top of the tray (but not resting on the tray).

Photo Opportunity setup:

  1. Unpack items.

    1. You will have base unit (large, plywood box structure with a removable panel at the back.

    2. Front panel (large plywood board, cut to shape and with vinyl graphic on top

    3. 2 side supports (plywood, with holes for screws / captive nuts and angled ends)

    4. Nuts and bolts (should be stored in flightcase).

  2. Check front panel for damage. If this has been previously noted, a replacement vinyl should have been provided to apply. Please remove the previous one first, then apply the new one. Trim to size, making note of the 4 screw holes (2 to each size).

  3. Put the base unit on its’ side - short edge downward

  4. From underneath the base, check if the screws have been left in position. There are 2 long screws at the front and 2 to each side. All below the relevant slots.

  5. Insert the front panel into the large slot, the image facing away from the base.

  6. Insert the long bolts underneath the base unit, through the front panel and back into the base. Do not tighten yet, do up finger tight only

  7. Insert the 2 side supports into the slots in the base unit

  8. Insert nuts into part of side support nearest graphic

  9. Insert hex head bolts through front of front panel into captive nuts in side supports

  10. Screw bottom of side support into base unit

  12. If necessary, insert 2 x concrete pads or sandbags into base unit for extra stability (not supplied)
