Stuck at home? It's time to build LEGO!

We are living in crazy times. As I write this, here in the UK, we are in the middle of a global pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus. The country is on lock-down, which for me at least, means lots of time at home with the family. My LEGO bricks are sadly still stuck in the office!

One thing you can all do though, is to build LEGO! Whether it’s a small spaceship or a massive building, staying at home and building models with your bricks is a great way to pass the time. I know that some of you are great master builders who don’t need any instructions - some of you like to have inspiration - and some of you like to follow instructions. It doesn’t matter what or how you build though, the important part is to have fun!

Each of my 12(!) books have included lots of instructions for models that you can build with the bricks you already have. To those of you that have bought some of my books a really big thank you! I do hope you’ve had fun reading, looking through the pictures or following the instructions.

However, I know that there are also many more people who haven’t been able to get hold of them as perhaps they are out of print. Delivery can certainly be a problem right now too. So, working with my great publishers at The Quarto Group, we’ve come up with a little idea that might just make the boredom a little easier to manage.

Today I’m publishing all of the instructions from my first book, Brick City, here on my website. That’s over 60 models you can build at home, all downloadable 100% free.

You can build them with your own bricks at home or just use them as inspiration. These will be completely free to use for the next 30 days, no questions asked!

I can’t wait to see what great models you’re able to build at home! Remember, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have exactly the right bricks in the right colours - just use what you have and your imagination. That’s what makes a true master builder. I’d love to see what you build, so please post a picture on our Facebook page of your models and help inspire other builders worldwide.

Remember, many of my books are still available to buy in lots of different languages. You can click here to see all my titles available on Amazon, or simply get in touch with your local bookstore. That way you’ll not only get the instructions, but also pictures of lots of other great builds to try your hand on. So, let’s get building and here’s hoping that it won’t be too long before we can do so together.

Happy Building!

Warren

Sorry, the month is done, and so are the instructions :-(

There is a tiny bit of small print!

  • Please don’t steal these and pass them off as your own, or make money from them. I want them to be free to anyone trapped at home.

  • Please don’t host the files anywhere else - but please do share the link above as widely as possible!

  • These are the original instructions I uploaded to the publishers - so they are LARGE files. Good for details though ;-) The pages are also not formatted like we’d usually make instructions.

  • There might be errors, please don’t judge me! If you spot one, please comment below and I’ll try to fix it and re-upload when I can.

  • Not every model has instructions, and no - I’m not writing instructions for St Pancras station. Well, not unless you want to pay for 6 months of my time!
