The Project:

DELL Storage Forum, London 2012

The Client:

Type A events for DELL

Cost:

Approx £3000

The Brief:

The DELL storage forum is the industries' premier event for DELL storage customers and partners. The UK event was to be the launch event for a new range DELL storage products which 'connect together like building blocks'. To celebrate this and to add an extra dimension to the event, Warren Elsmore was asked to create some unique art pieces and interactive elements for delegates to be involved with.

The Proposal:

To celebrate the UK event, three models of the London Tower Bridge were supplied to the event as decorative pieces. In addition, a number of LEGO mosaics were created featuring both the DELL logo and conference logo. As an interactive element, a 'LEGO graffiti wall' was brought to the venue, to allow conference delegates to write messages to each other and table centerpieces were supplied for each of the tables at the evening reception. All of these elements would need to be supplied to a 5-star London hotel and installed during a tight 2hr window.

The Result:

Working closely with the events team, Warren Elsmore supplied the models and art pieces pre-assembled for easy installation. The room was finished in time and opened to the delegates for a memorable evening. As something unique to that event, the LEGO models created alot of interest and the company mosaics were so well received that a number of these were ordered for future use. The table decorations proved interactive as well, with channel partners using the bricks to demonstrate solutions to their customers and directly driving sales.
