Building excitement with LEGO©

Warren Elsmore is an artist in LEGO® bricks and a lifelong fan of LEGO® who is based in Edinburgh, UK. He has been in love with the little plastic bricks since the age of four and now spends his days creating amazing models with LEGO®.

After fifteen years in a successful IT career, in 2012 Warren moved to working full-time with LEGO® bricks, helping businesses realise their own dreams in plastic. His first book, Brick City, was released in 21 languages to critical acclaim and has been followed by a catalogue of books and commissions recreating famous places, objects and events in LEGO®. Exhibitions of Warren’s models tour museums and galleries throughout Europe, entertaining hundreds of thousands of people.

Teresa 'Kitty' Elsmore has a successful background not just in LEGO building, but also administration and support. As Faculty Manager for Queen Margaret University she led the support team for half of their population. Moving into the charitable sector, Teresa acted as both PA to the Thistle Foundation's CEO and secretary to the Board of Trustees - a role central to the Queen's visit in 2012. After joining me in 2014 as a qualified Prince II project manager, Teresa led the delivery of BRICK 2014, which attracted over 47,000 visitors.

Alastair Disley originally studied electronics at York and continued on to gain a PHD in the perception of sound. He remained in Higher Education as a lecturer in Music Technology at the University of Kent. He's been a self professed AFOL since 1997 and in that time worked on a number of freelance projects for not just Warren Elsmore but also The Guardian, a number of other media companies and LEGO UK. Alastair joined the team earlier in 2015 where his love of architectural history has come in extremely useful!

Guy Bagley trained in Industrial Model Making at the University of Hertfordshire. After graduating, he worked on a number of notable TV and film productions such as London's Burning, Inspector Morse and Batman Returns. Guy started his toy career designing for Mattel and Hasbro but moved to The LEGO Company in 1993 to start building LEGOLAND Windsor. As Chief Model Maker, Guy worked on models for every LEGOLAND park and Discovery Centre worldwide and also helped to launch the LEGO Creator range into the USA.

How we work

As well as our LEGO skills, we understand that each event will have specific skill requirements to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible. To ensure a quality delivery, we continually invested in all of our team to ensure Warren Elsmore can supply you with a true 'one stop shop'.

Child Safety

Every public LEGO event will draw children and I believe it is vitally important to ensure their safety. Warren Elsmore is qualified as a Designated Child Safety Officer with training from the NSPCC. This provides me with the skills to advise you on the child safety of your event and should the worst occur, assist you through that period.

Insurance and Indemnity provision

We provide full public liability insurance for all our events, to a limit of £10,000,000. Copies of Risk Assessments and Method Statements can be produced on request

Site Safety

All members of Warren Elsmore staff are 'competent persons', trained in emergency first aid and will arrive to site with all required PPE and equipment as neccesary. Risk assessments and method statements are available on request for all work.

Transport

Events are always serviced by a specialist company vehicle, sign written to indicate the nature that a LEGO artist is at work. All employees hold a full driving license and are qualified to drive vehicles up to 8.2T within Europe (C1+E). Note that we do not hold an operators license. For other transport and warehousing requirements, we partner with specialist partners who provide palletised and custom delivery services for us, worldwide.
